Andy Kunkle is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience spanning the AEC industry, biotechnology, and healthcare. He is the co-founder of Cinch, an AI-powered construction knowledge platform designed to capture, organize, and surface lessons learned from jobsite conversations—helping teams make smarter decisions and reduce rework in the field.
Andy's deep connection to the built world began with roles at AIM Engineering and Suffolk Construction, where he led digital transformation initiatives across operations, planning, and project delivery. His career also includes pivotal work in biotech at Algenol and healthcare IT at OrthoKagan, where he managed secure systems and developed software solutions that enhanced patient care and streamlined infrastructure.
A passionate advocate for the next generation of innovators, Andy teaches AI in Construction at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), where he also recently delivered a campus-wide presentation on the transformative potential of AI across industries. He created and funds an endowed scholarship for Computer Science students at FGCU, a reflection of his belief in giving back to the community that shaped his own journey.
The scholarship has already made a meaningful impact—supporting students who have gone on to thrive at Microsoft's Power Platform team, and secure offers from NASA and Lockheed Martin.
Andy's work bridges technical depth with real-world application, and he continues to explore the intersection of AI, construction, and human collaboration—always with a mindset to build tools that make work more intuitive, more connected, and more meaningful.
